The House Of SandThis is my concept art project based in the setting of Epic Games Gears Of War video game series. That said, Gears of War and its characters is copyright Epic games Epic Games was kind enough to feature my project on their website and facebook page, a huge honor! [link] Comments Love your House of Sand project, really wish some of your designs were in the game, you definitely did a good job and I hope you continue to do more.
Also would you mind if your designs and characters get featured in a locust centered fanfic I plan to start sometime? It's centered around a different group of Locust, but your would be featured a couple of times once the Locust go feral. It would basically be like your House of Sand characters are one Tribe, and the Tribe my characters banded with are in a totally different area of Sera, and the two cross paths a couple of times. If you agree, I'll label at the beginning of the first chapter and at the end of each chapter it appears in that it's your work and that they can find it here on DA.  I'm sorry, but at the moment I'm still working on some more stuff with the House of Sand designs, and would prefer not to have them used in other fanfic just yet. Nevertheless I wish you the best of luck with your project and will definitely be interested to see how it turns out. I always enjoy seeing what other people can come up with in the Gears universe. Damn, ok. Let me know if you change your mind further down the road once your designs are more finalized. Either way good luck to you too.

Nice one  great work indeed, I love the creature with the long flaps that cover its face   Haha, found ya the same way. Amazing work, keep it up! I also have to agree about the Hollow on Gears 2, their home is just amazing. So much detail and character to the architecture, I just cant get enough. then the fantastic views of the caves, and the water? Ohh man XD
 Your Gears of War work is splendid! Not many people care for more Savage Locust! They're too busy complaining about the game and just wanting "Locust". Your Ambush Locust look as if you were inspired by ancient Samurai armor, which is unique and adds a new flare to Gears. Overall, your work is awesome.
In short, I approve. Thanks dude! I agree that the GOW community spends too much time complaining about the game when there's so much to love about it. You're absolutely right about the ambushers, for the Theron I drew a lot of inspiration from old samurai armor. The Locust have such a rich style to them, there's almost no limit to the ways you can play around with their designs!
You should continue creating more Savage Locust. I've always had this idea of Rainforest Savage Locust...
